Canadian Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse
The CNPEA is a national non-profit organization focused on elder abuse prevention and response. Founded in 1998, the organization is lead by a volunteer Board including members from every province and territory in Canada.
CNPEA’s envision is a Canadian society where older adults are valued, respected, and free from abuse. CNPEA strives to be the Canadian leader in the sharing of information and coordination of resources related to the prevention of abuse of older adults.
Connect people and organizations
Foster the exchange of reliable information; and
Advance program and policy development on issues related to preventing abuse of older adults.
CNPEA works at the local, regional, provincial/territorial, and national levels.
